NAME: Daisy (named, by her original owners, after Lisa Kopper's "Daisy" books)

NICKNAMES: "Nipper", "Nipper-Moo", "Crazy Daisy" and "Runtley"

LIKES: carrots, walking long distances, being under Hannah & Mark's quilt, visitors, sticks (chewing them to bits), footballs (deflating them), squeaky toys (de-squeaking them), stealing socks, the beach, Cooper (the collie next door)

DISLIKES: cats, sheep, deer, most other animals come to think of it, any loud noises or sudden movements being of a nervous disposition

MOMENT OF FAME: alerting human beings to a cat stuck in a drainpipe which would have drowned due to rising water

MOMENT OF SHAME: killing one of the aforementioned cat's brothers a couple of months later ("but mum, it looked at me funny...and it WAS in my garden.")
